Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shakar is one of the American and British sitarist. She was among the youngest and first female to win an award from the British House of Commons Shield she's received nine Grammy Awards nominations and was the first musician of Indian origin to play live on stage and also be a presenter for the award ceremony. Anoushka Shankar is among India's most promising stars on the sitar. She's the daughter of Ravi Shankar and a former student. She was born in London in 1982. During during her early years, she swam between London New Delhi. When she was only 13 the first time she performed was in New Delhi took place. After that, she moved in Encinitas CA where she graduated from High School with honours in 1999. Anouskha is yet to be a mature woman but she has a very amazing career in music and performance. She often joins her father in performances this she's been doing for a number of years. The year 1998 saw her debuted Anourag as her debut solo record.
